I photographed this Bathing Bunting last year at the Pedernales Falls State Park bird blind. It was great watching him take a bath in the bird bath. He was making quite a splash when he suddenly stopped and looked straight at me as it he were saying “what are you looking at?” He then went about his business of bathing and primping.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 7D Mark II<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 100-400mm f\/4.5-5.6 II Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 400mm. The camera was set on Manual\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/5.6, shutter speed at 1\/80th of a second and the ISO set at 1000. I used a tripod for stability. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and finalized in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
