One of my memorable events during my recent trip to Yellowstone National Park was the foggy sunrise we spotted along the Madison River. What caught my eye was the tree growing near the river’s edge. It was\u00a0shrouded in fog. Once the sun came up it lit the fog and turned it golden along with the sky and the river. I had to crop the original photo to isolate the tree as I did not have a long lens with me and I would have missed the shot otherwise. That’s why the starburst looks larger than normal. But, I still like the memory of the lone tree standing in the fog. A memory of a lifetime for sure.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5DS<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 24-70mm f\/2.8L II Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 70\u00a0mm. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f\/22, shutter speed at 1\/15th of a second and the ISO set at 100. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
