I photographed this Grassy Sunrise during a\u00a0trip to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center last September. I was looking for a good vantage point to photograph the rising sun when I realized that the grasses growing right in front of me would make for an interesting photo. I was able to capture the sun just as it rose above the horizon and I was rewarded with a decent starburst.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Sony A7R II Digital Camera<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Sony 90mm f\/2.8 Macro Lens<\/a>. The camera was set on Aperture Priority\u00a0mode with the aperture set at f\/22, shutter speed at 1\/10th of a second and the ISO set at 400. I used a tripod for stability.\u00a0This is a single image processed in Lightroom. I completed the processing in Photoshop using\u00a0Nik Color Efex Pro.<\/p>\n
