I photographed the entire monument but did not find it as interesting as the base. You all know by now that I am a sucker for symmetry so I had to stop and photograph this section of the monument. I especially liked the fact that there was a big red barn on the other side. The barn is part of the Lincoln Park Zoo.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly enough, the\u00a0Ulysses S. Grant Memorial is located in the heart of Lincoln Park and the Abraham Lincoln statute is located in the heart of Grant Park. There are many discussions among Chicago residents about this interesting fact. Either way, the memorial sits right next to the busy Lake Shore Drive and is visible to Chicago commuters. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f\/9, shutter speed at 1\/5th of a\u00a0second\u00a0and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability.
