I scouted this vantage point at the Bridge over South Pond of the Lincoln Park Zoo the day before and I showed up at the crack of dawn to photograph the scene. The sunrise was spectacular and I got lucky with the clouds.<\/p>\n<p>The Lincoln Park Zoo is located just north of the downtown area. It was founded in 1868, making it one of the oldest zoos in the US. It is also one of the few free admission zoos in the country. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f\/11, shutter speed at 1\/25th of a\u00a0second\u00a0and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability.
