Another great thing about Yellowstone National Park is the large number of rivers and waterfalls. Lewis Falls is one of the smaller waterfalls that we saw in the park but the colors surrounding it were the most impressive. We made a stop at Lewis Falls on the second day of our Photography Workshop. I captured four good photographs during the stop so be looking for the other three in a few days. This one by far is my favorite.<\/p>\n

The Lewis Falls are located on the Lewis River in Yellowstone National Park.\u00a0The falls drop approximately 30 feet and are easily seen from the road. I made the short walk down the road to the river itself then a short hike on the river bank to this vantage point. It was a popular spot and the parking area\u00a0filled up quickly.<\/p>\n

This image was taken with my\u00a0Canon EOS 5DS<\/a>\u00a0using my\u00a0Canon EF 24-70mm f\/2.8L II Lens<\/a>\u00a0set on 70\u00a0mm. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f\/22, shutter speed at 1\/25th of a second and the ISO set at 100.\u00a0This is a single image processed in Lightroom. I also used Photoshop and Nik Color Efex Pro to finalize the image.<\/p>\n
