Lewis Falls is one of the smaller waterfalls that we saw in the park but the colors surrounding it were the most impressive. We made a stop at Lewis Falls on the second day of our Photography Workshop. I captured four good photographs during the stop so be looking for the other three in a few days. This one by far is my favorite.

The Lewis Falls are located on the Lewis River in Yellowstone National Park. The falls drop approximately 30 feet and are easily seen from the road. I made the short walk down the road to the river itself then a short hike on the river bank to this vantage point. It was a popular spot and the parking area filled up quickly.

<img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" data-attachment-id="10053" data-permalink="https://tkahler.com/blog/2016/10/lewis-falls/lewis-falls-2/" data-orig-file="https://tkahler.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/20160919-lewis-falls-aa1-hdr-edit.jpg" data-orig-size="1500,1000" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{"aperture":"22","credit":"Terry B.
