I have always been a big fan of kaleidoscopes so when I encountered Nature’s Kaleidoscope in the Cattail Falls area I had to photograph it.
I noticed that a friend of mine posted a time lapse of the Pennybacker Bridge at sunrise.I decided to photograph this great bridge as well.
I photographed this Lighthouse at sunrise from the overlook near the Pennybacker Bridge over Lake Austin during the last full moon of f2016.
Most of the geothermal features in Yellowstone NP have names. I ran across this hot spring that was nameless. I called it Nameless Spring.

We stopped to photograph the Madison River reflection during our last full day in the Yellowstone National Park.
I captured this photograph of the Austin skyline reflection on Lady Bird Lake (aka Town Lake) in June of last year.
Every full moon is deemed “Howl at the Moon” night by the Austin community. I captured this image during the full moon evening earlier this month.
At first I was not too excited about this photograph but then I decided that there was more to it than the sunset reflection on the water.
One of our favorite photography locations in the Big Bend National Park is Santa Elena Canyon. We usually photograph the canyon at sunrise and we decided to try a sunset shot as well.
This is a photograph that I took during a trip to Venice in 2012. I captured it during a walk around the city while crossing one of it’s many bridges.
I posted an image of the Long Center for the Performing Arts reflecting in the pond in Butler Park. This similar reflection image was taken from the other side of the pond looking towards Palmer Events Center.

I spent a few days in Big Bend NP with some of my photography friends earlier this year. I captured this reflecting sunrise in the Ernst tinaja canyon.
I made a trip to Coral Gables Florida in February of 2105 to attend a wedding. I took advantage of the trip to practice my photography, eat some local cuisine and experience the mix of Latin American culture
The economy in Austin continues to flourish and as a result the skyline continues to change. In fact, it’s changed dramatically since I took this image back in April of 2012.
