The City of Austin undertook an initiative to increase bicycle ridership in the metropolitan area. The Austin B-cycle system in the image is part of that plan.
I enjoy trying to find new vantage points to photograph the Austin Skyline. I headed over the the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge to photograph the night skyline.
This image is of the archway that surrounds the patio of the Long Center. Of particular interest in this photo is Venus, who decided to photo-bomb the shot.
I posted an image of the Long Center for the Performing Arts reflecting in the pond in Butler Park. This similar reflection image was taken from the other side of the pond looking towards Palmer Events Center.
This “Long Reflection” is another image from my downtown Austin photowalk. This is the Long Center for the Performing Arts building as seen from the Palmer Events Center next door.
This image was taken on the south bank of “Town Lake” (which is really a river) near the statute of one of our famous musicians, Stevie Ray Vaughn.
I was part of a photowalk in downtown Austin in the spring of 2012. Our first stop was the Long Center for the Performing Arts where we met a homeless man.
