Mesa Arch is a “pothole arch” located within the Canyonlands National Park. It is located only a few hundred yards from the main road and it is one of the most photographed sites in the Moab area.
This is another golden sunset taken at the Green River Basin, located in the Canyonlands National Park, during my recent trip to Moab, UT.
This post is very similar to the post I did yesterday. It’s the same but different. It’s the same area, same day, same general time of day, both are panoramas but, there are two distinct differences.
The Green River Basin is a great place to shoot a sunset. A Green River Sunset was on my list of places to shoot when I visited Moab.
I mentioned in an earlier blog post that I made a trip to Moab, Utah. We decided after dinner one evening to go in the patio area of our condominium to try to shoot the Moab night sky.
My trip to Moab was great. I posted a story about a photo that I took with my phone on the way there, so I thought it was only appropriate that I do the same during my return.
I found a set of puddles during a trip to Moab, Utah, and decided they would make a great subject despite the fact that it was the middle of the day.
Dead Horse Point State Park, created over millions of years of geologic shaping, is located southwest of Moab, Utah, not far from the Colorado River. The same river that formed the Grand Canyon.
