Before and After: Color or B&W

I posted earlier in the year about a trip to Coral Gables, Florida and the various photography opportunities that I had while there.  I spotted this pier below during one of my outings. I used my Lee Filters to extend the exposure time in order to smooth out the ocean waves.  In addition, it allowed me to change the effect of the clouds.  After processing the image, I was torn between doing it in color or in black and white. In the end, color won out mostly because of the green hue of he new pier pilings.  That said, I’m still torn between the two.
