Howling Coyote

I photographed this howling coyote near sunset lake in the Biscuit and Black Sand Basins of Yellowstone National Park. This is not the sharpest photograph from my trip. The Coyote was far away and I hand held the camera. I heard him howling but I could not spot him. He finally came out in a clearing and I was able to capture a few photos of him in action.

This image was taken with my Canon EOS 7D Mark II using my Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 II Lens set on 400 mm. The camera was set on Aperture Priority mode with the aperture set at f/6.3, shutter speed at 1/2000th of a second and the ISO set at 400. I hand-held the camera for this image. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.
