Another Dorgan House Sunset photo from my trip to Big Bend National Park last December. I can only imagine what the Dorgan family’s day was like, especially with their 360-degree views of the wonderful area. In this photograph you can see Santa Elena Canyon on the left side. The photograph I posted yesterday had some spectacular views as well. I would definitely put my house here and enjoy every minute of it!
This image was taken with my Canon EOS 5DS using my Canon EF 16-35mm f/4 Lens set on 16 mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f/8, shutter speed at one half ofa second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and completed in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.

Terry, I love this shot of the Dorgan home against the amazing sky. Worthy of the cover of Outdoor Photography.
Thanks for the kind words Rick!
Beautiful shot. The house itself is pretty cool, but the clouds and coloring really make the photo! Assume a sunrise shot possible too?
Thanks Tom. I got very lucky with the clouds. Yes, sunrise is very good there as well. Shoot MW then wait for the sun to come up. Spectacular place.
