I photographed this sunrise pier a few minutes prior to photographing the old pier that I posted last week. This was the pier that I scouted the day before but the pier was much less interesting without clouds. So I abandoned this location in favor of the other one. Perhaps one day I will return to this spot when there are some interesting cloud formations.
This image was taken with my Canon EOS 5DS using my Canon EF 16-35mm f/4 Lens set on 24mm. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f/8, shutter speed at five seconds and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability and my Syrp Variable Neutral Density filter for a longer exposure. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and finalized in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.
