Rockport Sunset

I captured this Rockport Sunset during my trip to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge last February. I’m looking forward to returning again this year to photograph the wonderful wildlife and to capture some magnificent sunsets along the Texas Gulf Coast. This photograph was taken right before the skies turned color by the setting sun which was behind us. I captured a photograph with all the colors and posted it last year. You can click here to see that post. What captured my attention in this area were the grasses growing near the shore and how the setting sun lit them up into golden colors. I intend to go back to this same spot to see if I can improve the photo with a better sky.
