I photographed this African sunrise during my trip to South Africa last year. It was taken near the lodge where I was staying. I kept looking for a lone tree to photograph against the rising sun and this one was the only one that stood out. I posted a similar photograph taken right before this one titled Zulu Sunrise.
This image was taken with my Canon EOS 5DS using my Canon EF 16-35mm f/4 Lens set on 16mm. The camera was set on Aperture Priority mode with the aperture set at f/22, shutter speed at 1/10th of a second and the ISO set at 100. I used a tripod for stability. This is a single image processed in Lightroom. I completed processing it in Photoshop with Nik Color Efex Pro.
