Grassy Sunrise

I photographed this Grassy Sunrise during a trip to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center last September. I was looking for a good vantage point to photograph the rising sun when I realized that the grasses growing right in front of me would make for an interesting photo. I was able to capture the sun just as it rose above the horizon and I was rewarded with a decent starburst.

This image was taken with my Sony A7R II Digital Camera using my Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro Lens. The camera was set on Aperture Priority mode with the aperture set at f/22, shutter speed at 1/10th of a second and the ISO set at 400. I used a tripod for stability. This is a single image processed in Lightroom. I completed the processing in Photoshop using Nik Color Efex Pro.
