As we near the end of 2016, many people will look back on the year and think about what they have accomplished and weigh wether it was a good year or not. I have done the same thing in recent days and I think that 2016 was a great year for me and my photography. I had the opportunity to travel to some great places, I learned a lot about photography, I met some new photography friends, and, oh yeah, I bought more gear!!! The number of subscribers to my blog and the social media followers has grown significantly. The overall exposure (no pun intended) of my photography work has increased and I actually had some revenue from my photography work this year, although not nearly enough to pay for my new gear though… I thought it would be a good idea to do a 2016 Year in Review over the course of the next few days.
I went through my photos from 2016 and I have picked out a few of my favorites. Some are not great photos but I learned something significant while taking it. I would like to share one photo per day starting tomorrow until the end of the year. I won’t bore you with long, drawn-out story reruns. For now, here are some of my memorable photographs from 2016. Some of you were with me when I took them so we share a moment in time as a result.
