This is the second photograph of the Praying Hands sculpture at ORU. I posted the first photograph last Friday. One of the things I learned from a photographer that I admire is to avoid staying in one place and to move around and look for other photo opportunities at the same location. This was my first vantage point choice but I moved over to another vantage point in order to capture the sunburst inside the sculpture. I then came back to this vantage point and captured this image. I like the leading lines of this photo but I like the overall look of the other one better. So, when you scout a location think about the various vantage points you can use.
This image was taken with my Canon EOS 5DS using my Canon EF 16-35mm f/4 Lens set on 16 mm. The camera was set on Aperture priority mode with the aperture set at f/22, shutter speed at 1/15th of a second and the ISO set at 100. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and Nik Color Efex Pro.
