Similar Reflection

Yesterday I posted an image of the Long Center for the Performing Arts reflecting in the pond in Butler Park. This similar reflection image was taken from the other side of the pond looking towards Palmer Events Center. As was the case with the other image, this was taken during the downtown Austin photowalk in the spring of 2012.

The Palmer Events Center was open for business in 2002 and has hosted many private and public events including the monthly City-Wide Garage Sale which is more of professional event than an informal sale. The center is part of the Austin Convention Center network of facilities.

This image was taken with my Canon EOS 5D Mark II using my Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 Lens set on 24 mm. The camera was set on Aperture Priority mode with the aperture set at f/2.8, shutter speed at 1/3 of a second and ISO set at 100. I took a total of three bracketed images (-2, 0, +2) and processed them in Photomatix into one HDR image. Final processing was done in Photoshop.
