I recently posted stories about the Sleeping Cowboy, the Campfire Cowboy and my encounter with Lea Jones (Gila Wilderness Outfitter) at the Blue Front Cafe in Glenwood NM back in the summer of 1999. I mentioned that Lea hired me to shoot some photographs during one of her outings with one of her corporate customers. I grabbed my camera one day when people were settling down for their afternoon naps and captured our trail boss taking a nap in the campground. I snapped that photograph then moved around the log and took this image of the trail boss and his lady taking a cat nap.
This image was taken using my Canon EOS AE2 with Ektachrome slide film. I did not record the individual settings. The processing was done by a local camera shop. I scanned these images using my Epson scanner. I fixed some of the issues caused by the scanner in Lightroom.
