Big Bend Milky Way Panorama

I recently posted an image I took during my trip to Big Bend National Park earlier this year.  The image below is from the same trip but at a different location. This Big Bend Milky Way panorama was put together using three frames and assembled into a panorama using Photoshop. I’ve still got some work to do to learn how to do this better but I’m happy with these results. I chose a black and white tone to highlight the starts and the silhouette of the mountain.

This image was taken with my Canon EOS 5D Mark II using my Sigma 14mm lens. The camera was set on Manual mode with the aperture set at f/2.8, shutter speed at 25 seconds and the ISO set at 5000. Post processing was done in Photoshop to assemble the panorama and final toning was done in Lightroom.
