The town of Ajo (Spanish for garlic) is located about 90 miles southwest of Phoenix. It is a quaint little town. As I drove through town I arrived at the town square where the bright whitewash structure immediately captured my attention. The rounded shapes and straight lines were amazing. It had a “Greece” feel to it. Too bad I arrived there in broad daylight. Some day I will go back and capture this wonderful structure at daylight or dusk.
The US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs houses one of the most fascinating chapels in the country. I visited the Academy Chapel in 2012.
The San Xavier del Bac Mission is a historic Spanish Catholic mission located near Tucson, Arizona. I visited this area in the spring of 2013 and stopped in at the mission to capture some images.
The Pima Air & Space Museum was founded in 1966 as a private, non-profit museum located in Tucson, Arizona. I visited the museum in 1999 and took my black and white gear with me.
