I captured this photograph of a waiting photographer during my trip to Rockport, TX last year. He patiently stood there until the sun set then walked out into the middle of the water and captured a colorful sunset. You can see the photograph that I took of him at that moment by clicking here. I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since I was there. I’m looking forward to going back soon.
The photographer in the image below is John Martell. We stopped by his gallery upon arrival into Rockport and chatted with him about photography locations. He was very kind and shared quite a bit of information with us. Stop by and see his gallery if you happen to be in the area.
This image was taken with my Sony A7R II using my Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 Lens set on 70 mm. The camera was set on Aperture Priority mode with the aperture set at f/4, shutter speed at 1/1250th of a second and the ISO set at 50. This is a single image processed in Lightroom and Color Efex Pro.
